Hours of Work: 7:00am - 4:00pm Mon to Thurs and 7:00am - 3:45pm Fri (one RDO per f/n)
What’s On Offer
The City of Kwinana is seeking a motivated and experienced concrete worker to join our City Operations Infrastructure team. You will contribute to the delivery of high-quality, efficient and value-driven services that support the maintenance and improvement of the City’s footpaths and associated infrastructure. This is a full-time position reporting to the Coordinator Infrastructure and working alongside a team of dedicated staff.
As our newest team member, you will work closely with other City Operations team members in the carrying out maintenance of City infrastructure and by providing direction and training to other team members as required. This position regularly liaises with contractors and members of the public when undertaking the duties assigned to this position and is expected to provide a high quality of customer service at all times.

What You’ll Need
To make an impact in this role, the successful candidate will have:
- Demonstrated experience in laying concrete and thorough knowledge of concrete/compaction techniques, methods and quality control procedures.
- Extensive knowledge in the safe operation and maintenance of applicable plant and equipment.
- Ability to calculate levels, measurements and quantities required for concreting.
- Ability to effectively communicate and provide guidance and training to team members.
- Demonstrated understanding, knowledge and ability to effectively follow workplace Work Health and Safety procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and provide the highest quality of customer service to the general public when responding to queries.
- Current MR Class Driver’s Licence, Certificates of Competency, Provide First Aid certificate, Basic Worksite Traffic Management Certificate, White Card – Construction Safety Awareness Training.
