About the role
As a Support Coordination Team Leader in the Specialist Services Team, you will have responsibility for leading a team. This permanent full-time position is crucial within the organisation and is suited to an experienced and highly organised individual with a high-level understanding of support coordination and the NDIS.
You will support positive engagement with stakeholders including families, service providers, health professionals and Planners. You will mentor the Support Coordinators in your team to provide the highest possible quality service to our participants and promote a positive and supportive team culture.
About You
* Demonstrated high -level knowledge of the NDIS and what it means for participants
* Experience with Support Coordination and leading a large, dynamic team of support coordinators
* Previous leadership experience that involves staff supervision
* Previous experience in disability, community services, disability employment services, mental health services or similar
* Time management skills to effectively manage workload and meet deadlines
* High level of interpersonal skills including the ability to develop and maintain relationships within a team, with participants, across service providers, and with various stakeholders
* High level understanding of computer systems including PACE
