Our Graduate or Undergraduates

As a Graduate or Undergraduate Auditor you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals on a wide range of tasks. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience and exposure to real-world accounting scenarios helping you develop the skills needed to excel in your accounting career. You will support our engagement team in planning and executing external audit engagements in accordance with Australian Auditing Standards and our audit methodology. This role provides the successful applicant the opportunity to work full-time or part-time (minimum 0.6 FTE) dependent on university study load and requirements.

Key responsibilities

* Participate in audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients across different industries.
* Assist in conducting financial statement reviews and verification procedures.
* Perform financial examination and analysis.
* Evaluate and improve internal control systems and processes.
* Prepare reports and communicate findings effectively.
* Continuously develop and improve professional skills.
* Collaborate with team members and provide leadership when required.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships.

Our commitment to the Bendigo Community is a top priority for us. While this position offers the convenience of hybrid work, it is essential to note that it is primarily based in Bendigo. As part of this role you will be expected to be in the office approximately two days a week and occasionally travel to our clients' premises in Bendigo and surrounds.
