Public Affairs and Communications Professional

This role is offered on a fixed-term contract basis with hybrid working arrangements.
About the Role:
* Develop and deliver integrated public affairs communications strategies supporting business goals and enhancing our reputation.
* Build relationships with internal stakeholders, government, industry bodies, media and community stakeholders.
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality engaging content across core corporate communications channels.
* Support preparation of submissions and written advocacy advancing our public affairs agenda.
* Manage issues and crises, including proactively escalating potential media or reputational issues, developing materials such as reactive statements.
* Work closely with colleagues across different regions.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
* 7+ years' experience in communications, public affairs or corporate affairs navigating complex stakeholder environments.
* Natural storytelling capability, multi-channel communications and visually engaging content creation.
* A strong background in media relations ideally government relations too.
* Confidence working independently collaboratively across diverse teams.
* Experience with media monitoring tools, social platforms and content creation tools.
* A Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Public Policy, Law or Economics related fields essential.
