SAFEgroup Automation (SGA) is a leading Australian systems integrator and engineering services business, supporting critical infrastructure and industrial clients nationwide. With offices across five states, 200+ employees and circa $50m in annual turnover, SGA is entering its next exciting phase of growth.
Following acquisition activity, the business has outgrown an externally managed finance model and is now seeking its first Head of Finance to build internal capability and provide hands on commercial leadership.
The Opportunity
This is a newly created, senior finance leadership role, that partners closely with the COO and CEO (reporting to the CEO). The Head of Finance will establish and lead the internal finance function, strengthening governance, controls and commercial insight across the group.
This role is preferably based in their Newcastle office with the COO, however exceptionally strong candidates based in Brisbane may be considered.
Importantly, this is not a CFO appointment, however, will have development opportunities as the organisation continues to grow. This is a hands-on role focused on execution, structure and insight, building a scalable finance function that supports sustainable growth and positions the business well for future expansion.
