High Voltage Technician Job Summary
Job Description: As a High Voltage Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, testing, and repairing high voltage electrical equipment and systems. You will work with senior HV technicians and workshop electricians to manufacture specialized high-quality electrical equipment to support construction, mining, and tunnelling projects across Australia.
* Carry out high voltage switching and installation
* Carry out terminations and jointing
* Carry out testing, commissioning, and fault-finding on transformers, switchgear, cables, and protection relays
* Perform installation, maintenance, and repairs on high voltage electrical systems
* Prepare technical reports, work permits, and test documentation
