Solutions Architect (Azure & Oracle) – 1-Year Contract
We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect with expertise in Azure and Oracle to join our team on a 1-year contract. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in higher education or government sectors, who can design and implement enterprise-grade solutions within complex IT environments.
About the Role
As a Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing solutions leveraging Azure and Oracle technologies. You will collaborate with stakeholders, business leaders, and technical teams to ensure that IT solutions align with strategic goals and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions using Azure and Oracle technologies.
- Provide expert guidance on cloud migration, hybrid environments, and enterprise system integration.
- Collaborate with government or higher education stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure compliance with security, data governance, and industry regulations.
- Conduct architectural reviews and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Lead technical discussions and mentor development teams on best practices.
- Work closely with DevOps and infrastructure teams to drive automation and efficiency.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect within higher education or government environments.
- Expertise in Microsoft Azure, including IaaS, PaaS, networking, security, and governance.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle technologies, including databases, cloud services, and enterprise applications.
- Experience with enterprise integration patterns, API management, and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM) frameworks such as Azure AD.
- Strong understanding of data security, compliance, and risk management within regulated industries.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in cloud migration projects for large institutions.
- Understanding of ITIL and enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF is a plus).
