IMPACT Community Services in partnership with CoAct under theInclusive Employment Australiaprogram have a transformative 5-year initiative which will empower the Maryborough community through inclusive employment solutions.
We are seeking a passionate, driven professional to join our Maryborough team as anEmployment Support Consultant.In this role you will connect people with disabilities to employment by promoting services and building strong community relationships.
What you will be doing:
* Prospect Caseload & Client Support,manage prospective client enquiries, guide them through eligibility, and provide ongoing support and follow-up. Maintain accurate records in JobReady, documenting interactions and tracking progress. Assist clients in gathering medical evidence, facilitate ESAt referrals, and send appointment reminders.
* Community & Employer Engagement,represent the organisation at job fairs, expos, and employment events to promote services and attract clients. Proactively engage employers and clients through in-house initiatives when external events are limited.
* Social & Community Supports,facilitate access to social support services such as food banks, medical center's, and allied health providers. Build and maintain strong relationships with service providers to ensure timely and appropriate client support.
What you'll need to succeed:

* Relevant experiencein employment services, community engagement, recruitment, or workforce development
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills– you'll be working with people from all walks of life
* Proven ability to build relationshipswith job seekers, employers, and community stakeholders
* Adaptability and initiative– this is a dynamic, fast-paced environment where innovation is encouraged
* Understanding of local labour marketsand barriers to employment in regional communities.
* A current driver's licenseand the ability to travel locally as required
