Immediate Start - Maintenance Officer/Handyperson - $38-$40 per hour + Super - Casual
Your new company
You will be working at a healthcare site based in the inner-west of Sydney, and joining their facilities' management team as a Maintenance Officer/Handyperson. As of right now, this is an ongoing casual position and could potentially go on for a period of up to 6 months or, if you are a permanent resident or citizen, it could lead to a permanent position.
Your new role
In your role as a Maintenance Officer/Handyperson, you will be reporting to the Head of Facilities for the site and your general responsibilities will be as follows :
* Painting/Patching
* Basic carpentry
* Building furniture
* Basic plumbing such as changing washers.
* Basic electrical work such as changing light bulbs/globes.
* Maintain accurate records and action work orders through an internal system.
* Coordinate contractors on site.
What you'll need to succeed
* Previous maintenance experience or transferable trade experience
* Current Driver's Licence
* Strong communication skills and being able to deal with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Basic computer sills
* Ability to pass a police check and Working With Children Check (WWCC)
