The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly experienced Procurement Lead to manage the contractual and procurement aspects of this multi-billion-dollar project. Based in Cooma, NSW, you will lead negotiations, ensure compliance, and support the delivery of critical materials, plant, equipment, services, and subcontracts.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead procurement and negotiation of civil, engineering, supply, and construction contracts.
* Prepare and manage subcontract agreements and variations.
* Ensure compliance with commercial and contractual obligations.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders including legal, finance, and construction teams.
* Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, clients, and government representatives.
* Ensure all procurement activities align with environmental, safety, and quality standards.
About You
* Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Engineering, Law, or equivalent experience.
* Minimum 15 years’ experience in contracts administration with Tier One contractors.
* Strong understanding of contract law, project deeds, and construction regulations.
* Experience in heavy infrastructure, power plants, or tunnelling is highly desirable.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and document control systems.
