We are seeking a creative, driven and detail-oriented Marketing Executive to join our North Sydney team and help deliver impactful marketing initiatives across both trade and consumer audiences.
The Opportunity
This is a broad, hands-on role spanning digital marketing, content creation, membership communications and event support. Working collaboratively with the CLIA team, you will play a key role in delivering integrated campaigns that strengthen industry engagement and elevate the cruise sector across Australasia.
Key Responsibilities
SOCIAL MEDIA & DIGITAL CONTENT
* Create, schedule and manage engaging content
* Support campaigns across organic and paid channels
* Monitor engagement, performance and audience insights
WEBSITE & MEMEBERS HUB MANAGEMENT
* Develop and publish website content
* Manage and enhance content within the Members Hub
* Maintain and expand the Members Marketing Toolkit and campaign resources
GRAPHIC DESIGN & MARKETING COLLATERAL
* Design social media assets, digital banners and promotional materials
* Develop event collateral and presentations
* Prepare artwork for print production
EVENTS & VIRTUAL SHOWCASE
* Manage event registration platforms
* Support webinar and virtual showcase set-up
* Develop presentations and post-event surveys
MEMBERSHIP & TRADE ENGAGEMENT
* Collaborate on membership renewal campaigns
* Develop membership marketing collateral
* Manage trade-facing communications aligned to membership initiatives
NEWSLETTERS & EDMs
* Produce and distribute the weekly industry newsletter
* Execute trade EDM campaigns for cruise line partners
* Maintain accurate database segmentation and audience management
About You
You are an energetic marketing professional with at least 2 years’ experience in a marketing role, ideally within travel or cruise. You bring:
* A solid understanding of the travel industry, ideally with exposure to cruise
* Experience marketing to travel agents or B2B audiences
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Proven ability to develop marketing collateral, digital assets and engaging copy
* Experience producing social media and website content
* Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
* Experience with email marketing platforms, CMS systems, webinar and event tools
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
* High attention to detail and a proactive, collaborative approach
