Plant Mechanic - Leading HandatWesTrac Cat
Location: Perth Precinct, WA, AU
Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, the Leading Hand Plant Mechanic will be responsible for leading a team to success in the New Machines Team to ensure delivery dates and deadlines are met.
You will be working on Caterpillar building and construction equipment, performing a variety of tasks, including dealer provided option installations, maintenance and builds to customer specification, ensuring optimum safety and efficiency throughout the entire build.

Roster:8 days on, 6 days off, 12 hours per day

Responsibilities
Lead and motivate a team of up to 10 employees within the New Machines Team.
Work alongside team members to manage and complete high-volume tasks efficiently.
Promote, encourage and monitor safety to a high standard within the team.
Qualifications
Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (Heavy Vehicle Mechanic)
Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining high safety standards
CAT equipment experience is highly desirable
Team leadership experience with ability to lead from the front with safety as a priority
Strong understanding of KPI metrics from receiving a task to component dispatch
Ability to coach and mentor teams
