About the Role
As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our Perth and site management teams and contractors are technically supported to deliver projects safely, efficiently and to high standards that meet our stakeholders' expectations and requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver and manage water projects to support the construction of dewatering assets
• Technical assurance and review of preliminary engineering, detailed engineering and construction packages
• Stakeholder management of internal and external stakeholders, including operational projects personnel and contractors, consultants, and other team members
• Drive schedule improvements to reduce delivery timeframes safely
• Deliver cost-effective solutions to improve the project's capital intensity whilst delivering the project scope on time and within budget safely
Requirements
Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
3-5 years industry experience working in a similar role
Demonstrated experience supporting large, complex and multi-discipline projects
Demonstrated experience in the mining industry across non-process infrastructure. Dewatering projects preferred
Experience with project budgeting and cost control
Demonstrated experience managing external design consultants
Able to successfully engage internal and external stakeholders at all levels
Proactive and self-motivated, with a drive for excellence
Results-driven, responsible and accountable
Able to manage under pressure and adapt quickly to change
Great problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
