Leadership Role in School Operations and Finance
The Head of Finance and Operations is a senior executive leader responsible for the general management of a small international independent school offering a bilingual education program. The role reports jointly to the governing body on financial and compliance matters and to the principal for day-to-day general management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the school's financials, including preparation and implementation of annual budgets.
* Provide timely financial reporting, including monthly board updates.
* Promote compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
* Maintain a safe work environment by coordinating workplace health and safety practices, risk management activities, and ensuring employee well-being.
* Oversight key HR functions, including employee support services, recruitment processes, policy development and enforcement related to employment legislation.
The Head will lead a team responsible for administration operations across several areas including marketing IT business logistics facilities maintenance contractors etc., fostering positive community relations while representing as an ambassador at all times further establishing trust integrity between our organization students families staff stakeholders alike.
Required Skills Qualifications:
• CA or CPA qualification highly valued but not essential.
