This is a fixed-term part-time opportunity; approximately 16 hours per week for up to 12 months.

Your new role

The Arts Officer provides administrative and project support to the Arts team, coordinating projects, preparing documentation, supporting procurement processes, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with stakeholder engagement and reporting. Working closely with the Arts Development Officer, the position helps deliver initiatives from the Arts and Culture Strategy and ensures projects comply with organisational policies, funding requirements and operational standards.

What you'll need to succeed

* Highly developed experience in managing community projects from concept to delivery.
* Excellent task prioritization, time management and planning skills and the ability to remain flexible to meet operational requirements.
* Highly developed interpersonal, problem solving, negotiation and conflict resolution skills to establish positive working relationships with various internal and external stakeholder groups.
