As Contracts and Procurement Manager, you’ll lead a dedicated team and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to drive efficiencies, manage risk, and support strategic decision-making. With over $3 billion in assets serving 230,000+ residents, your work will make a tangible difference. 
Your Role 
Strategic, Collaborative, Impactful 
As the Contracts and Procurement Manager, you will lead the development and implementation of a robust framework aligned with the Council’s procurement and contracting objectives. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure contracts and procurement processes are effective, effective, and deliver value for money. 
You will play a key role in the successful delivery of:

- our four-year Delivery Program for

Leadership and Delivery 
Your leadership will be essential in building organisational capacity, overseeing supplier performance, and ensuring effective contract management. You will champion a culture of continuous improvement and uphold the highest standards of ethical practice within the procurement function. You will lead and inspire a dedicated team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment that supports professional development, drives operational excellence, and delivers strategic outcomes for the organisation. 
Who We're Looking For 
We’re seeking a strategic thinker and natural problem solver who can engage across all levels of the organisation, influence outcomes and thrive in a dynamic environment. 
Success in this role will require a strong foundation in procurement and leadership, along with the ability to lead, develop and inspire a dedicated team. 
- Degree qualification in procurement, contract law or a related discipline. 
- Extensive experience in procurement and contract management. 
- Proven leadership and team development skills. 
- Strategic procurement expertise. 
- Strong influencing skills and software proficiency (e.g. Technology One, Vendor Panel)
