Payroll Professional Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the timely preparation of payroll-related data, reconciliations, payments, month-end activities, reporting, and analysis.
This is a permanent role working in our North Ryde office, Sydney. The successful candidate will report directly to the Payroll Team Leader.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure accurate and timely delivery of payroll processing and associated activities, including wage/salary disbursements, overpayment recovery, leave management, and reporting.
* Assist with Single Touch Payroll (STP) reporting requirements.
* Process payroll using the relevant HRMS, ensuring all deadlines are met as specified by the Payroll Team Leader and in accordance with business SLAs.
* Keep up to date with statutory requirements.
* Adhere to all policies, procedures, and standards.
* At least 2 years' experience in a payroll end-to-end volume processing role.
* Demonstrated experience in delivering superior customer service.
* Exposure to multiple Enterprise Agreement (EA) and high-volume (1,000+ employees) payroll processing.
* Experience in SAP, Oracle V12, and/or Oracle Express HR is advantageous.
* Solid knowledge of payroll legislation and best practices in payroll operations.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications—particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
