Regional Operations Leader
About the Role
Foster client relationships and ensure the successful delivery of operations in a specific geographic area.
Main Responsibilities
* Safety: Deliver sustainable outcomes in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) through visible leadership and contribute to HSE improvement strategies.
* Growth & Strategy: Generate and deliver on a growth strategy for the region.
* Client Relationships: Develop long-term client relationships and identify opportunities for solutions.
* Financial Management: Support budget creation, monitor performance, and contribute to forecasting and reporting.
* Workforce Management: Collaborate on recruitment, remuneration, performance reviews, and supervision.
* Resource Allocation: Ensure efficient resource use to meet divisional goals and branch objectives.
* Site Oversight: Regularly visit project sites to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
* Project Support: Oversee projects from start to finish, including scheduling, handover, and regular meetings.
* Risk Control: Monitor project budgets and address risks and opportunities.
* System Compliance: Ensure adherence to and continuous improvement of project management systems.
* Tendering & Reporting: Prepare high-quality estimates, tender bids, and reports within allocated timeframes.
* Engineering Standards: Ensure solutions meet Australian Standards and are fit for purpose.
* Project Performance: Control expenditure and timelines to meet project targets and update stakeholders regularly.
