Position Overview:
Reporting to the Management team, Sales Associates act as brand ambassadors within and outside the store to ensure the company's success in the recreational cannabis market. They advise customers on suitable products, build authentic relationships, and work collaboratively to meet sales goals and business metrics.
Responsibilities:

* Advise customers on product selection based on needs, preferences, budgets, and strain responses.
* Demonstrate advanced cannabis knowledge and curate experiences that go beyond expectations.
* Create intentional customer experiences and exceed expectations through exceptional service.
* Drive customer visit goals and increase returning customers while achieving sales and business metrics.
* Pick and pack orders.
* Accurately handle cash transactions using the point‐of‐sale system and maintain precise registers.
* Seek opportunities to contribute to and improve business results daily.
* Adhere to all company training, operational standards, and procedures.
* Be knowledgeable about company communications, rollouts, directives, and procedures.
* Abide by all company policies and programs.
* Compliance with all legislative requirements of cannabis retailers, including federal, state, and DCC laws and regulations.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 21 years of age.
* High school diploma.
* Preference for candidates with open availability.
* Open availability defined as the ability to work all required hours, including days, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
* All employees must be able to work two weekend days (Friday‐Sunday); management reserves the right to assign days as needed.
Physical Demands:
* Prolonged periods of standing, sitting at a desk, and working on a computer.
* Ability to stand for prolonged periods, bend, kneel, squat, and twist.
