East Coast Kitchen Company is growing and we're adding a fourth Estimator to our established team. The role can be shaped toward your strengths —
high-end architectural cabinetry
or
volume commercial projects (townhouses and apartments)
.
You'll be joining a systemised estimating department with clear processes, strong internal support and a steady pipeline from reputable builders.
What You'll Do
Depending on your skillset, you will specialise in one of the following:
High-End Architectural Cabinetry
Quote premium bespoke cabinetry packages ($100k–$400k)
Work closely with mid-sized custom builders
Manage drawing complexity, detailed elevations and architectural variations
OR
Volume Commercial Projects (Townhouses & Apartments)
Quote multiple dwellings and repeatable joinery packages
Manage schedules, BOQs, and builder pricing programs
Maintain accuracy and consistency across large project volumes
Both streams involve:
Clear communication with builders, contract administrators and internal teams
Managing timelines, deadlines and pricing expectations professionally
Handing over jobs cleanly to our site management team
Building long-term builder relationships
Working to commercial targets within an organised, process-driven environment
What You'll Need
Cabinet making background or previous cabinetry estimating experience
Strong communication and time management
Excellent attention to detail and documentation
Ability to manage expectations politely but firmly
Confidence building relationships and maintaining them
Self-driven mindset with commercial awareness
What You'll Earn
$40 - $50 an hour based on experience
0.5% - 1% commission on cabinetry only (no stone) for all closed jobs
Example: Close $2M ? $20,000 commission on top of base salary
Commission adjusted for quoting accuracy
Stable pipeline with strong growth trajectory
