About the Role
We require an accomplished Accountant who can assist the Treasurer and Finance Committee in maintaining detailed records, overseeing daily responsibilities, and offering expert advice.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Management and Oversight:
o Maintain accurate income and expenditure records in the general ledger.
o Provide critical guidance on financial management best practices.
2. Reporting and Analysis:
o Prepare timely financial reports for stakeholders, including weekly, monthly, or ad-hoc analysis.
o Conduct thorough reviews and summaries of key performance indicators.
3. Payroll and Compliance:
o Ensure staff are paid accurately in line with regulatory requirements.
o Manage payroll reconciliations and complete necessary statutory returns.
4. Budgeting, Audit, and Reconciliation:
o Develop and implement effective cash flow management strategies.
o Lead annual budget preparation and liaison with auditors.
