Offer description

We are seeking an experienced midwifery professional to lead our Maternity Services department. This is a leadership role that requires strong clinical and administrative skills, as well as the ability to develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and outcomes.


About the Role

This position will involve:

* Clinical Leadership: Providing high-quality patient-centered care, managing clinical risks, and participating in accreditation processes.
* Administrative Management: Managing financial resources, equipment, and human resources within the department.
* Team Development/Strategic Planning: Promoting a positive work culture, developing services to ensure quality of care, and contributing to organizational goals.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife.
* Tertiary Qualification in Midwifery.
* Post-registration experience across all midwifery domains.
* Previous leadership and managerial experience.
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team, with strong leadership and communication skills.
* Demonstrated skills in supporting and leading change management.
* Australian Citizenship or permanent residency.
