Medical Receptionist — Casual (Beachmere QLD) Role overview: Join a friendly general practice in Beachmere as a casual Medical Receptionist. This private practice seeks a reliable, welcoming front-of-house team member to manage patient flow, appointments, billing and telephone enquiries.

Reception and patient care: Greet patients, check them in, manage waiting room flow and provide a compassionate, professional presence. Appointments: Schedule, confirm and reschedule consultations using practice software; manage appointment reminders and cancellations. Billing: Handle private billing, process payments, issue receipts and answer basic billing enquiries accurately.
Telephone triage: Answer incoming calls, direct queries to clinical staff or provide information according to practice protocols. Records and administration: Maintain accurate patient records, update contact and Medicare details where applicable, and assist with simple data entry tasks. Team support: Assist nursing and administrative colleagues during busy periods and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
