Permanent VR GP Opportunity – DPA We are seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join our new GP clinic, co-located with a Medicare Urgent Care Clinic, in a vibrant coastal hub on the Great Ocean Road, just three hours from Melbourne. This is a DPA, MM3 location and may be suitable for GPs under the 10-year moratorium. Summer brings popular water activities, while from June to September, it is famous for whale watching. What You’ll Do: Deliver patient-focused primary and urgent care following best-practice clinical standards. Collaborate with the Practice Manager and multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless, high-quality care. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and meet RACGP and Medicare requirements. Participate in continuous quality improvement, innovation, and risk management. Support patients in making informed healthcare decisions. Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain and enhance clinical skills. What We’re Looking For: FRACGP or FACRRM or equivilent Experience in general practice, urgent care, community health, or emergency medicine. Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient safety and quality care. Proficiency with Practice Management Software (e.g., Best Practice).
