The Role
You will operate a variety of machinery on civil, construction, and infrastructure sites while working as part of a supportive and safety-driven team. The role includes both local work and rostered away projects, offering plenty of variety and strong earning potential.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate plant and machinery such as excavators, loaders, skid steers, rollers, telehandlers, and other equipment as required
* Conduct daily pre-starts and basic maintenance checks
* Work closely with supervisors and site personnel to complete tasks efficiently
* Follow all safety procedures, SWMS, and company policies
* Assist with general onsite labouring when needed
* Maintain equipment cleanliness and care
* Commit to project timelines and quality standards
What You Need
* Minimum 5 years' experience in plant and machinery operation
* Relevant VOCs and/or High-Risk Work Licences
* Construction White Card
* Current driver's licence (HR/HC)
* Ability to work away on projects when required
* Strong understanding of workplace safety
* Ability to pass drug/alcohol screening
Desirable Skills
* Experience in civil, trenching, or utilities works
* FIFO/DIDO project experience
* Basic mechanical aptitude
* First Aid/CPR
