Leading Engineer Role
The successful candidate will lead the conceptual and detailed engineering of utility-scale wind projects. This involves planning and delivering wind farm design packages across all project stages.
Key responsibilities include providing technical expertise on wind turbine technology, grid connection requirements, electrical systems, and civil balance of plant works.
Also responsible for managing technical interfaces between disciplines on wind farm projects, supporting tender and project cost forecasting, constructability reviews, and schedule development.
Maintain compliance with project requirements by reviewing turbine supplier documentation and ensuring compliance.
Commissioning input and support site activities during project execution.
Mentor junior engineers and foster knowledge sharing across the team.
* Master's or Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or related field.
* Significant experience in utility scale wind farm projects including design and delivery.
* Strong knowledge of wind turbine technology, grid connection requirements, and balance of plant works.
* Skilled in industry-standard design and analysis tools for wind projects.
* Ability to think analytically, solve problems effectively, and communicate clearly.
* Collaborative working style, able to manage multiple projects and maintain a strategic focus.
* Flexibility to travel for site-based work as required.
