We are seeking a permanent, part-time (40 hours fortnightly) Customer Service Assistant based in Hobart.
What you will be doing in this role:
* Transferring and directing customer and employee phone calls to appropriate staff in accordance with operational processes;
* Maintain the quality of customer service by tracking the queries using databases and systems;
* Provide administrative support as required;
* Provide face to face customer service to our clients, stakeholders and staff;
* Maintain confidentiality and security of all customer and employee information and data.

You must have:
* Demonstrated interpersonal skills to provide the level of customer engagement expected in the role. This includes effectively liaising with a diverse range of internal and external customers and clients.
* Possess the necessary listening skills to accurately assess issues for either referring to relevant areas or if within the scope of the position, provide resolutions to issues.
* Be able to show resilience and effectively deal with difficult customers and difficult situations.
* Experience in maintaining and operating in environments where information is sensitive, personal and/or of a confidential nature.
* Able to work energetically, positively and productively to meets the needs of customers while adhering to regulatory policy and procedures.
* Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced contact/service centre environment utilising modern office technology and equipment.
* Basic knowledge and adherence of work health and safety legislative obligations.
* Demonstrate an understanding and alignment to the Anglicare Mission along with the ability to apply Anglicare values in the performance of all duties.

The successful applicant will be required to:
* provide a current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration (employment/volunteer category) including NDIS Worker Screening Check;
* present an unsupervised contact with children or vulnerable people type National Police Check (no older than 12 months);
* provide an International Police Check if you have resided for 12 months or more outside of Australia after the age of 16;
* provide a satisfactory Anglicare assessed medical;
* provide a current provisional or full Australian Driver Licence.
On commencement the successful applicant will be required to undertake our structured Safeguarding Children Training program.
