Reporting to the Store Development Project Manager, this is a hands‐on, production‐focused role where precision and pace matter equally. Whether you're looking for part time or full time hours, we're versatile – what matters most is the quality of your craft.
A day in the life
As a JOINER / CABINET MAKER, your daily tasks may include:
* Manufacturing and assembling cabinetry and joinery products to specification
* Interpreting plans and preparing cutting lists for each job
* Measuring, cutting, routing, gluing, and assembling timber components with precision
* Operating CNC, panel saw and other workshop machinery safely
* Ensuring accurate alignment, fitting, and finishing across all joinery work
* Working collaboratively with the broader team to meet deadlines
About you
The ideal addition to the #GhandaGang will have:
* Proven experience in joinery or cabinetry
* Sound knowledge of woodworking techniques and materials
* Previous experience using panel saw, edge banders and CNC machines
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
* Demonstrable ability to read and interpret plans
* Strong problem‐solving skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn
