About the Role

As a Business Development Professional, you will play a key role in engaging SME businesses, building long-term relationships, and connecting employers with future talent (apprentices and trainees). You'll identify opportunities, present tailored solutions, and grow our market presence by promoting the benefits of partnering with us for apprenticeships, traineeships, and recruitment services.

This is a dynamic role that combines business development, client management, and consultative sales. It's perfect for someone who thrives on achieving results, and loves the thrill of closing a deals that really make a difference to people's life's. You will be launching careers, not selling jobs.

Key Responsibilities

* Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities within SME's
* Build and maintain strong relationships with employers and industry partners.
* Develop a balanced sales pipeline of prospective clients
* Promote apprenticeship, traineeship, and recruitment solutions tailored to client needs.
* Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to onboarding clients.
* Collaborate with internal colleagues to ensure high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction.

About You

To succeed in this role, you'll bring:

* Proven experience in B2B sales - business development, minimum of 3 years. Group Training Experience will see you stand out.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* The ability to build long-term, mutually beneficial client relationships.
* A self-motivated, proactive approach to providing solutions to clients needs, with the drive to achieve and exceed targets.
* A genuine interest in workforce development, education, and community impact.
* A passion for learning about our industry and business sectors combined with commitment to on-going research to keep yourself ahead of the market.
* GTO/VET sector experience will be highly regarded.
* Full C class NSW Driver licence
* Hold a current NSW Working With Children Clearance or willingness to obtain one is essential.
