We are looking for a customer- and delivery-focused Project Manager who is proactive in delivering on our client's expectations. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders and help maintain the dynamic team culture at Verbrec. You will be exposed to clients across projects in oil, gas, utilities, manufacturing, petrochemical, renewables and other local industries.
Responsibilities
Managing engineering projects
Developing and managing client relationships (Key Account Management)
Driving commercial and safety success at all stages of projects
Generating and reviewing tenders and proposals
Leading and managing multi-discipline project teams
Developing the project team and establishing the governance structure
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with project teams and other key stakeholders.
Qualifications
Highly developed technical skills in Engineering and Construction, preferably Instrument & Electrical, Control Systems with Mechanical, Process or Civil considered
Consultancy or commercial project experience with strong delivery and commercial results
Experience in Defence, Infrastructure, Manufacturing, Mining, Oil & Gas or similar
Proven Project Management experience
Ability to measure project progress
Ability to lead and compile tender submissions with the support of the Verbrec Engineering and Construction groups
Proven experience in managing risks and issues
Drive to meet targets and motivate a team
Strong sense of ownership and accountability of work
Highly desirable - Project Management accreditation (AIPM or PMI accreditation)
