We are seeking a dedicated support worker with immediate capacity to assist in Gawler, with morning and evening availability and the possibility of additional shifts. This role offers approximately 20 hours per week and may extend to full time in the future.
As a Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in empowering individuals to achieve their goals and live independently. We're looking for team members who are passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred care across our metropolitan service areas.
Key Requirements
* Certificate III or IV in Disability or Individual Support (essential)
* Previous experience in disability support
* Availability for flexible shifts including mornings, afternoons, and weekends
* Reliable transportation (desirable)
Your Responsibilities
* Provide emotional support and companionship
* Assist with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
* Encourage and support clients to participate in community activities and social events
* Develop and implement personalised support plans tailored to each client's goals
