**B. Authentic Life Care DISABILITY SERVICES OVERVIEW**
Authentic Life Care is an NDIS Registered Provider delivering services to people living with disabilities.
We provide a diverse range of service offerings which are co-designed with Authentic Life Care participants and their circle of support to ensure that every participant is supported to meet their
NDIS Plan goals. Authentic Life Care Disability Services utilize a positive and strength-based approach within a well-developed culture of person-centered practices.
**C. JOB PURPOSE**
The purpose of this role is to provide oversight and direction to the management and operational staff of Authentic Life Care in relation to:
- Clinical management of all Authentic Life Care Participants under various services
- Quality and compliance management across all participant services
- Safety and effectiveness of the participant behavior support plan implementation.
The role will take both an advisory and hands-on lead in relation to the ongoing client assessment, and development and review of support plans (inclusive of behavior support) in consultation with participants and key stakeholders.
The Clinical, Quality, and Compliance Manager will also lead (participate in, and/or delegate to others) the internal auditing activities which ensure that Authentic Life Care stays compliant in delivering services aligned to the NDIS Quality and Safety Standards 2018.
The role will also build the capacity of support workers, team leaders, and managers in relation to the areas of responsibility held by this role. This will be achieved by training, mentoring, and/or role modeling the behaviors and attributes which are required by a team of service delivery staff to achieve a quality-driven participant focussed service.

**E. JOB REQUIREMENTS**
**KEY RESULT AREA 1 CLINICAL MANAGEMENT**
**Key Tasks**
- Monitoring of clinically related standards within the NDIS Quality and Safety Standards 2018 into the Authentic Life Care business as usual system
- Guidance reviews of NDIS support plans and behavior strategies
- Guiding and implementing effective quality education and client safeguarding policies, procedures, and processes
Conduct a Monthly Quality and Clinical meeting, keeping agenda, minutes, and action records as evidence for the auditor
- Conducting scheduled and random internal audits against the NDIS Quality and Safety Standards
2018 (and/or delegate this responsibility to others to build Authentic Life Care staff quality capacity)
- Keep abreast of behavior support updates and best practices, and inform the team, making suggestions where possible
- Report updates or issues needing addressing at every leadership team meeting

- Monitoring training staff around Regulated Restrictive Practices and Incident management
System across Authentic Life Care
- Provide oversight and direction towards Complaint Management System across Authentic Life
Care and organize training around this
- Work closely with Director, General Manager, Compliance Advisor, Managers, Team Leaders &
RNs were required in order to provide the right documentation and conversation to NDIS staff and other stakeholders where required
**Key Performance Indicators**

- The number of incidents reported relating to client behaviors where staff are not able to respond effectively
- The indicative results of internal audits - across time
- Feedback from support staff about the benefit of training and development conducted (read in context with staff performance in the workplace)
- Regularity of team supervision conducted
- Regularity of targeted individual staff supervision (where incidents or complaints indicate this is necessary)
- Results (read in context) from stakeholder and staff feedback survey conducted at 3/12 intervals.
