Our goal is to support residents' physical and emotional wellbeing and quality of life. You'll directly contribute to their lives by providing personalized care and empathetic companionship.
* Assist residents with daily living and personal needs such as eating, showering, personal hygiene, dressing, personal grooming and general mobility.
* Administer medication and apply simple wound dressings.
* Support resident participation in lifestyle and social activities.
To be successful, you will have:
* Certificate III in Individual Support or Certificate IV in Ageing Support or equivalent.
* A big heart - you're empathetic, adaptable, and have a passion for supporting older Australians to live their best life possible.
* Experience in aged or community care, or a passion to begin your career in the aged care sector.
