Sales Agronomist Job in New Zealand
We are seeking a sales professional with experience in agricultural and animal health markets to drive sales activity in New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify new business opportunities in agricultural applications, interacting with farmers, agents, agronomists, and consultants.
* Develop and execute strategic plans to drive demand across animal feed and health businesses.
* Build on the existing distribution network of agents across New Zealand to facilitate growth and servicing of the market.
* Participate actively at field days, conduct field trials, promote/launch new products.
* Create and maintain quotations and opportunity pipelines.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience within agriculture, animal health, or chemicals markets. Ideally, has worked with soil improvement, fertiliser, or chemical products.
* Degree in a relevant field - a combination with marketing will be highly regarded.
* Is system savvy and can fully utilise social media to promote products.
* You need to be a strong communicator, proactive, and results-oriented.
* Able to travel across New Zealand when required.
