About The Role
Working within a busy General Medicine Department, you will gain exposure to a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. Around 75% of patients are Indigenous, offering an incredible opportunity to develop your clinical, cultural and communication skills.
Responsibilities include providing patient care across acute and chronic conditions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and supervising junior staff.
- Cardiology, Rheumatology, Endocrinology, Nephrology, Oncology and Infectious Diseases
- Palliative Care, Gastroenterology, Alcohol & Other Drugs
- Supported by on-site ICU, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, O&G;, Psychiatry and Paediatrics
About The Hospital
Teaching hospital affiliated with Flinders University and Charles Darwin University, providing high‑quality care across more than one million square kilometres. You will work alongside passionate physicians and contribute to training, teaching and research.
About You
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Minimum 3 years postgraduate experience
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Commitment to Indigenous health and rural medicine
- Ability to supervise junior staff
- RACP Advanced Trainee (for Senior Registrar roles)
