We are seeking a highly motivated and relationship-driven sales professional to join our team and champion the Greenock Creek brand.
As a Greenock Creek Sales Representative, you will contribute to the development and execution of the winery's sales strategies, expanding channel presence, strengthening distributor relationships, and driving continuous growth across key markets.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop annual and quarterly sales targets and translate them into actionable regional and channel plans to drive revenue and market share growth.
· Monitor weekly performance against targets and adjust strategies in response to market shifts to ensure consistent sales progression.
· Analyse retail performance indicators such as foot traffic, conversion rates, and average transaction value to propose merchandising improvements, promotional activities, and staff training programs.
· Implement experiential retail initiatives, including in-store tastings and food-pairing activations, to enhance consumer engagement and strengthen brand presence.
· Expand and manage distributor networks across key regions.
· Establish tiered support programs for distributors, including sales materials, product training, and incentive mechanisms to maintain long-term, stable partnerships.
· Identify and develop new sales channels, including e-commerce, social media–driven sales, and consumer groups built through tasting events and brand activations.
· Explore corporate gifting and group-purchase opportunities, creating tailored product bundles for business clients and seasonal promotions.
What We're Looking For:
· Minimum 5 years of sales experience in FMCG or the wine industry (preferred), with a proven track record of independently opening and developing new markets.
· Strong understanding of Australian wine sales channels, including retail, restaurants, hotels, on-premise, distributors, and online platforms.
· Demonstrated ability to build and expand distributor networks, with the capacity to create city-specific or region-specific market strategies.
· Competence in data-driven sales management, including analysing channel performance and optimising resource allocation.
· Strong negotiation and execution skills, with experience in contract discussions, account management, and driving projects to completion.
· WSET Leave 2 or higher level, equivalent wine knowledge is advantageous
