Avanti Coffee is on the lookout for Barista **who are coffee obsessed** (with all-rounder experience) **to join our TEAM in our well-established Lara location**.
We are looking for experienced barista's who understand the drive thru environment. A sense of urgency and the ability to effectively communicate in a team as well as proven initiative and the ability to work autonomously is a must. We have an established, loyal customer base who are used to a friendly smile and a bubbly personality.
Our core product is great coffee, so experience is a must, but also the willingness to learn and adapt to the Avanti way of operating.
EXPERIENCE is necessary. We need someone ready to step into a full on, busy coffee environment. In peak times we can make up to 100 coffees working in a small team over two state of the art two group head La San Marco machines.
Role is not suitable for under 18 as opening and closing shifts may be required and we are a stand-alone store.
Applicants need:
- Available on our busiest days of Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (between 5am to 5pm) is a MUST with additional availability favourable.
- Barista experience.
- A bubbly personality, engaging with regular customers daily who want to remember YOUR name
- A real team player with excellent customer service skills.
- Able to work under pressure in fast-paced environment.
- Able to work unsupervised and take initiative.
- Willing to undertake a multitude of roles from serving customers for 5 hours to working solo closing the shop.
