What you'll be doing
Lead the day to day operations of the Travel Booking Team to ensure that commercial travel booking services meet agreed standards for performance.
* Assist the Manager in day to day management of centre operations, allocate and/or expend resources, monitor controls that ensure service delivery standards are met, participate in and give advice regarding procurement of services.
* Assist Travel Clerks to process travel bookings, ensuring that services delivered meet agreed standards for performance and expenditure.
* Deliver reporting on activity and performance, including scheduled and ad hoc reporting on service delivery standards, production activity and financial performance.

How to apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible:
* Demonstrated understanding of requirements of legislation, commercial contracts and customers for commercial travel booking.
* Exemplary interpersonal, negotiation and problem solving skills, including well versed telephone etiquette, to build and maintain working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
* Proven effectiveness leading a team, planning and coordinating work, coaching and developing staff, to achieve performance targets.
* Demonstrated successful track record in methodical and accurate record keeping, transaction processing services, data management and reporting.
* Demonstrated ability to develop, prioritise and manage a wide variety of tasks.
* Demonstrated organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with a capacity to prioritise competing demands and achieve results with a customer focused approach.
