About the role:

Are you ready to make a real difference in the lives of older people in your community? Narrabri Community Health Service is thrilled to welcome an enthusiastic Enrolled Nurse to join our Transitional Aged Care Program (TACP) and Community Nursing teams.

No two days will ever be the same In TACP, you'll be out and about visiting clients in their homes—assisting and assessing personal care needs, lending a hand with light domestic duties, facilitating social support, and even helping clients get to important appointments. Once you've supported TACP clients, you'll have the chance to broaden your skills by working alongside our Community Nursing team, where every day brings new opportunities to learn and grow.

We're looking for a motivated, caring individual who is passionate about working with older people. A current NSW driver's licence and willingness to travel are essential, as you'll be visiting clients across the community. Your ability to recognise changes in a patient's condition, act swiftly in emergencies, and work seamlessly with other health services will set you apart. If you also have an interest or experience in wound management, that's an added bonus

Don't worry—you won't be doing this alone. You'll be fully supported by our Registered Nurses, Nurse Unit Manager, and Community Health Service Manager. From orientation to ongoing mentorship, we'll make sure you have everything you need to succeed. Plus, with a Professional Development Plan, you'll have access to regular education, training, and career growth opportunities.

Where you'll be working:

At Narrabri Community Health, we're more than a workplace—we're a family. Our team is friendly, supportive, and deeply committed to looking after both our clients and each other. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do, ensuring the best possible care for the community.

Narrabri itself offers the perfect mix of career and lifestyle. Picture yourself exploring the stunning wilderness of Mount Kaputar, taking in the breathtaking Namoi Valley, or relaxing in the famous Artesian Bore Baths. Adventure is never far away, with opportunities for camping, canoeing, and discovering unique volcanic landscapes. If you love community life, Narrabri has you covered—monthly markets brimming with fresh local produce, vibrant sports clubs, and a welcoming social scene with activities for all ages, from bushwalking and pony club to netball, rugby, and touch football.
