Warehouse Assistant / Lifting & Rigging Technician

Salary: $70,000 – $100,000 + Super (depending on experience)

Quant Technologies Pty Ltd is seeking a versatile, organised, and hands-on individual to join our team in a multifaceted role. This position combines warehouse operations with assisting The Lifting Guys, a specialist lifting, rigging, and height safety company. No two days will be the same — one day you could be unloading deliveries, the next conducting lifting gear inspections or installing height safety systems.

About the Role
Warehouse Duties:
* Load and unload trucks
* Receive deliveries and maintain an organised, tidy warehouse
* Ensure a safe working environment
* Occasionally complete deliveries in company trucks (Minimum HC licence required; MC preferred)
* Operate a forklift to move and store goods (Current forklift ticket required)
* Work independently with strong time management and planning skills
Lifting & Rigging Duties:
* Conduct inspections of lifting, rigging, and height safety equipment in line with Australian Standards
* Perform proof load testing and prepare detailed inspection reports
* Test, tag, and repair lifting gear for compliance and performance
* Operate a 150T test bed to assemble custom lifting solutions
* Provide occasional on-site support for installing height safety and building access systems

Requirements
* Minimum HC licence (MC licence highly regarded)
* Current forklift licence (LF)
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to provide product advice
* Commitment to personal and workplace safety
* Construction White Card (mandatory)
* Dogman or Rigging Ticket (can be provided for the right candidate)
* EWP and Working at Heights tickets (can be provided for the right candidate)
* Hands-on approach with problem-solving skills
* Physically fit, motivated, and reliable
* Basic computer skills – able to use email, Excel, and iPad for reporting
* Mechanical aptitude or experience with lifting/rigging equipment an advantage
* Employment references required
