We are currently recruiting for the role of Police Cadet, offering a unique opportunity to start a rewarding career in policing.
This 9-month full-time training program will equip you with the skills and knowledge required to become a Probationary Constable. During your training, you will learn to respond to a range of real-world situations, including conducting mobile patrols, investigating crimes, and engaging with community members.
Upon completion of your training, you will be deployed to an operational team, where you will work closely with other policing sections and partner agencies to keep the community safe.
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about helping others, possess good communication skills, and are able to work effectively under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting mobile patrols and responding to emergency calls
* Investigating accidents, crimes, and public complaints
* Engaging with community members at events
* Attending court
* Managing traffic and road safety operations
* Providing advice and assistance to victims of crime
* Maintaining records and preparing reports
Requirements:
* Australian/New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency
* Meet medical, fitness, and background requirements
* Be willing to relocate to South Australia for training and work
Benefits:
* 9 months of paid, full-time training earning $69,108 per annum
* Salary increases to $80,190 upon graduation
* 6 weeks annual leave per year
