We're looking for a Development Manager to join the Athletes Village Development Team at Brisbane Showgrounds. In this role your key responsibilities will include:
* Overseeing all phases of project delivery including design, approvals, procurement, construction, and handover.
* Managing consultants, contractors, and authority negotiations to ensure timely approvals and compliance.
* Driving the development of applications, design documentation, and project governance.
* Collaborating with marketing teams to align product design with market positioning and customer needs.
* Monitoring competitor activity and provide insights to inform product strategy.
* Maintaining project budgets, timelines, and reporting across all development stages.
About You:
This is a dynamic role for a strategic thinker with strong operational and technical expertise. You will have a proven ability to lead complex projects with excellent planning, problem-solving, and communication skills. You will also have :
* 7+ years' experience in development – ideally with high-rise or mixed-use projects, including residential experience.
* Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
* Tertiary qualification in Property, Architecture, Urban Design, or related field.
* An adaptable, collaborative, and committed approach to delivering high-quality outcomes.
