Join the Equine Centre at the University of Melbourne's Werribee campus as an Equine Veterinary this dynamic role youll play a vital part in delivering exceptional care to equine patients both in the hospital and on ambulatory visits. Youll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced veterinarians and researchers providing efficient nursing assistance and ensuring compliance with best practices. Additionally youll contribute to the practical training of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) students supporting their work-integrated learning.
Your responsibilities will include
* Patient Care: Provide veterinary nursing support horse handling and assist with clinical procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
* Operational Support: Maintain supplies equipment and adherence to infection control and safety standards ensuring efficient service delivery.
* Documentation: Record and maintain patient r detail s facilitate client appointments and communication and ensure appropriate case charging.
* Student Supervision: Assist in the supervision and assessment of DVM students.
* Collaboration: Contribute to effective communication and foster working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
