Our Client is a boutique, reputable and well established Insurance firm who specialises in accident and sickness protection. They are seeking a proactive and highly customer centric team player to join their fun and dynamic team based in modern offices in Manly.
At its essence, this is a high level customer service role so skills and experience working with customers is essential. The claims process can be taught however any prior exposure to Insurance would be beneficial.
**Specific duties include**:
- Ensuring claims service standards are met in a timely manner
- Completing initial claims assessment sheets with detailed action plan
- Managing of claims from notification to file closure
- Updating, liaising, responding to & answering questions from brokers, claimants and stakeholders
- Conducting timely investigations in relation to coverage and medical issues
- Engaging with appropriate experts to assist with claims assessments
- Managing an effective diary system
To be considered for this role you will have top communication skills along with highly developed interpersonal abilities. Strong attention to detail is also essential to the success of this role.
A competitive salary will be offered commensurate with experience; this could range from $70,000 + Super to $100,000 + for someone with prior claims experience. Offices are close to Manly Corso and standard hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm (with flexibility to work from home 1-2 days per week after a reasonable settling in period).
