ABOUT THE ROLE...
We're seeking a passionate, detail-oriented Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our Community Engagement team. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this role plays a key part in delivering high-quality digital marketing activities that support Zoos SA's strategic objectives, drive visitation and membership, and strengthen our connection with audiences.
Working across a diverse portfolio that includes tourism, conservation fundraising, events and commercial initiatives, you'll help bring campaigns to life across digital channels while using data and insights to continually optimise performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and deliver digital marketing, advertising and promotional campaigns across websites, email, social media and paid digital channels.
* Support campaigns that drive audience growth, brand awareness, visitation and member acquisition, retention and reactivation.
* Assist with the management and ongoing development of Zoos SA's digital platforms, including websites, landing pages and email marketing.
* Create, coordinate and publish digital content in line with marketing calendars and campaign timelines.
* Support SEO, conversion optimisation, audience targeting and retargeting initiatives.
* Monitor and report on digital performance, providing insights and recommendations to support continuous improvement.
* Work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies to deliver high-quality digital outcomes.
* Maintain accurate records, reports and administrative requirements, and support media, public-facing and WHS activities as required.
ABOUT YOU…
You're a collaborative digital marketer who thrives in a collaborative organisation and is motivated by purpose-driven work. You bring analytical thinking and technical skills, with a strong desire to learn, adapt and continuously improve.
The successful candidate will have:
* Tertiary qualifications in marketing, media, web design/development or equivalent experience
* Experience using content management systems (WordPress preferred).
* Strong analytical skills with working knowledge of Google Analytics
* Experience using email marketing platforms for campaigns, audience targeting and customer journeys (ActiveCampaign desirable).
* Experience using paid digital platforms, including Meta Ads and Google Ads
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work collaboratively
It is desirable that you also have:
* Experience in strategic and digital marketing
* Videography, audio capture and editing skills
* Skills in Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent tools
* Awareness of the evolving AI and digital marketing landscape
