About the Role
We are looking for Mental Health Trained Support Workers to work with clients in our Adelaide suburbs. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Building and maintaining trusting relationships with clients and their families
* Assisting clients to achieve personal goals
* Facilitating community inclusion and participation
* Encouraging positive behavior and managing challenging behaviors
* Providing personal care and support in accordance with client plans
Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Disability Support Certificates (Cert III or above)
* Mental Health Training Certificates or equivalent skills
* DCSI Clearance, National Police Clearance, First Aid + CPR, Driver's License, Manual Handling, Working With Children Checks, NDIS Worker Checks
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will assist participants with daily activities, provide short-term interventions, and facilitate communication and decision-making. You will also transport participants to appointments and social activities, upholding their rights, independence, and dignity.
