Bayside Health is a public health service delivering high-quality care across every stage of life for close to 1.2 million people in metropolitan Melbourne and surrounding regions. We have more than 15 main sites, including hospitals, centres and clinics, providing comprehensive care from newborns to older adults with a focus on exceptional, equitable, and locally connected care. Education and training are central to staff development, and Bayside Health was formed on 1 January 2026 from the merger of Alfred Health, Bass Coast Health, Gippsland Southern Health Service, Kooweerup Regional Health Service and Peninsula Health.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will provide a full range of neuropsychology services to the acute hospital, including decision making capacity assessment, behaviour assessment, and behaviour support planning. There is full-time EFT available, though candidates wanting to work part-time will also be considered.
Position Details
* Permanent, Full-time position (1 EFT / 80 hours with flexible arrangements, ADO)
* Based at The Alfred Hospital's CL Psychiatry service
* Clinical Neuropsychologist Grade 3

Department
The Psychology Department provides services across Alfred Health, including Acute, Subacute, and Mental Health Services. The department is committed to evidence-based, patient-focused assessment and treatment, and prioritises staff wellbeing and support.
Qualifications And Skills Required
* Master or doctoral degree in Neuropsychology
* Registration under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (Victoria) Act 2009
* Endorsement as a Clinical Neuropsychologist under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (Victoria) Act 2009
* Approved Supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia
* Membership of the APS and the APS College of Clinical Psychologists (desirable)
