* Located in Parramatta with flexible work arrangements available
* Salary: Clerk Grade 9/10 with salary ranging from $ 129,464 to $ 142,665 + super and annual leave loading

About the role


In this role, you will lead and coordinate Finance-related change initiatives, shaping and delivering change strategies that support improved services for school stakeholders (including DELs, Principals, and SAMs) and corporate teams.

You will work closely with business leaders to understand impacts, assess risks, and design practical change approaches that drive adoption and embed new ways of working. This includes overseeing engagement and communication strategies as key enablers of successful change.

You will build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, influencing decision-making and fostering commitment to change. The role also involves providing expert advice on change management approaches, ensuring initiatives are evidence-based, well-sequenced, and effectively delivered.

About you

You are an experienced change professional with a strong background in stakeholder engagement and communication.


To succeed in this role, you will bring:
* Proven experience leading organisational change and reform initiatives
* Strong capability in change strategy, impact assessment, and implementation planning
* Ability to influence stakeholders and drive adoption of new ways of working
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex change into clear messaging
* Experience advising leaders and supporting evidence-based decision making
* Analytical skills to monitor change outcomes and adoption, not just communication effectiveness
* Proactive in identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies

Key knowledge and experience

* Extensive experience in engagement and communications, specifically relating to organisational change and reform
* Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

Essential requirements of the role

* Qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent knowledge, skills and experience
* Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.

Renewal is not required after the WWCC expires, as long as you remain in a non–child-related role. Employer obligations only apply while the WWCC is valid.
