About the role
* Fault finding and repair independently electronic faults in nurse call systems in hospitals and aged care environment after initial training.
* Advanced systems-level electronics fault finding experience is required for complex troubleshooting and repair work.
* Able to follow instructions and specifications when installing, commissioning, servicing Nurse Call Systems and Spectralink DECT phone systems, to ensure conformity with customer requirements.
* Installation and termination of Cat 6 cabling as per Installation drawings
* Certified installer qualification for Cat 6 cabling systems is required.
* Installation, programming, testing and final commissioning of nurse call equipment on site.
* Use precision measuring techniques for testing like the Meter to measure voltage between 0-24 Volts DC
* Able to fill out time-sheets/service reports daily to keep track of time and materials used on the job for job costing purposes.
* Able to be on-call 24 hours/day, 7 days/week, on rotation basis with our technicians, for fault finding and repairs.

Skills and experience
* ACA communication licence, Blue/White Construction Industry Card, QLD Police Clearance Certificate, QLD driving licence, preferable minimum 3-4 years proven working experience.
* Electronics/communications proven working experience is required for this technical role.
* Permanent resident status is required for this position.
