Lendlease has a fantastic opportunity for a National Manager of Government and Industry Affairs to join our Corporate Affairs and Marketing team. The National Manager of Government and Industry Affairs is an integral role responsible for communication, engagement, and strengthening stakeholder relationships across government and industry.You will work alongside the GM Corporate Affairs and heads of business to lead the development and delivery of a highly effective government and industry engagement program, and manage the articulation of Lendlease’s policy positions in line with business objectives across corporate, investment management, development, and construction.Your responsibilities will include :Proactive engagement with Government and key stakeholders at a national and state level in Australia to support business objectives.Monitoring policy and advocacy issues, and providing strategic insights and counsel to senior internal stakeholders concerning issues of key significance.Collaboration with and participation in effective dialogue with relevant external stakeholders on industry-wide matters, including key industry associations and regulators to plan and achieve public policy outcomes.Coordination and management of the National and State PCG for Government Relations.Development of key communications including briefing papers, messaging, and speeches for the business leaders as required.Representing Lendlease at government or industry meetings and events where appropriate.About you :You will have experience building and managing strong relationships and be adept at communicating the organisation’s position on business, political, and industry matters with key stakeholders. You’ll have the ability to manage multiple priorities and fast-moving situations and issues. You will have significant public affairs, public policy, industry, or government relations experience at a senior level.
